CountPort runs on the cameras you already have.
CountPort is not a camera or a counting sensor. It is software that analyzes the video your store already records and reports who comes in, where they go, and where they wait.
- Processed on-site. All video is processed on a computer inside your store and is never uploaded. Only anonymous measurements are sent on.
- No facial recognition. CountPort does not identify individuals. It reports counts and routes, which reduces privacy risk and simplifies data-protection review.
- Your hardware, your choice. The software can run on a standard PC, a Mac mini, a recorder, or supported store cameras.
What you need to understand store traffic.
From counting visitors to mapping their routes to measuring lines, the core measurements are available in one platform.
Counting
CountPort reports how many people visit your store and how many are inside at one time. It can exclude staff so your figures reflect customers rather than your own team, and it also reports the share of visitors who make a purchase.
- Staff can be excluded, so counts reflect customers
- The share of visitors who make a purchase, in real time
- Per-entrance and store-wide totals
Heatmaps
CountPort shows where customers move through the store, where they slow down and gather, and which areas they overlook. Results are presented as a color map showing where customers spend the most time, and no one is identified.
- A color map showing where customers spend the most time, by area
- The routes customers take through the store
- No one is identified
Queue analytics
CountPort reports how many people enter the queue area, how long they wait, and how long it takes to serve them. It shows the current queue length at any moment and whether a cashier is present at the till.

- Whether a cashier is present at the till

Analyze on-site
Software that runs on a computer inside your store analyzes the video to measure visitor numbers, the routes customers take, how long they stay, and how lines form. The video itself never leaves your premises.
Act on the numbers
Live dashboards and alerts give the people who manage staffing, displays, and planning the information they need to make decisions.
