See checkout pressure as it builds.
CountPort uses your existing checkout cameras to measure your queues: how many people join the line, how long they wait, and how long service takes. It does not identify individuals, and all video is processed on-site.
Runs on the cameras you already have · No individual is identified · Video stays on-site
Example: queue length, wait time, and service time measured from one overhead checkout view.
Three measurements that explain every line.
CountPort runs on the checkout cameras you already have and measures the whole queue, from the moment a customer joins the line to the moment they are served. You can verify the accuracy on your own cameras.
Entry count
CountPort counts everyone who joins the line, so you can see the actual load on each checkout rather than an estimate from your checkout or till system.
Queue wait time
CountPort measures how long customers wait in line, from the moment they join to the moment they reach the counter.
Service time
CountPort measures how long each customer spends being served at the counter, which is the second part of the total wait.
Waiting and serving, measured separately.
A long line is not always a slow one. CountPort separates the time customers spend waiting from the time staff spend serving, so you can tell whether you need more staff or a faster process at the counter.
- Entry count: how many people join each queue.
- Wait time: how long they stand in line.
- Service time: how long each customer takes at the counter.
From a checkout camera to a number you can staff to.
Connect a checkout camera
CountPort connects to the camera above your queue or checkout area. It runs on the cameras you already have, and no new hardware is required.
Detect the queue on-site
The software runs on a computer inside your store and detects people as they enter and stand in the queue area. It does not use facial recognition and does not identify individuals.
Time the wait and the service
Each visit is timed: how long the customer waits in line, and how long service takes once they reach the counter.
See pressure and act early
Current queue length, wait time, and service time appear on a dashboard, along with the history. Your staff can open another lane before lines build up.
Queue analytics is based on anonymous measurements: counts and durations, never identities. CountPort does not use facial recognition and does not identify individuals. All video is processed on-site, inside your store, and is never uploaded; only the measurements you choose are synced. This reduces privacy risk and simplifies data-protection review.
